Beautiful old Katanga cross 07.05.338
They come in different sizes and models. The smallest is a few mm and weighs a few grams, the largest is more than 10 kg. It was used as currency in Congo until the 60s of the 20th Century. According to Prof. Vincenzo Fusco, they have been moulded traditionally by the local chiefs who, thus had the privilege to produce them.
