Headrest from the lower Omo valley 06.03.039

This type of headrest is one of the most common type of the pastoralists in Eastern Africa and the Horn of Africa. Sappen attributes a very similar headrest to the Karamajong (Kenia and Uganda) but other authors show similar headrest for the Mursi and other tribes of the lower Omo river.
