Heavy antique Dinka ivory bracelet 01.07.1032

These bracelets were worn by the Anuak, Shilluk, and Nuer from Sudan , sometimes at the upper arm. This item has beautiful brownish colored patina, with some cracks. Ivory is the material of choice for many of the peoples within Sudan. Collected during my stays in Southern Soudan in the 1970'ties.
