Kambatta / Hadiya headrest 06.01.184

Gurage, along the banks of the upper Omo River. Ethiopian men generally use these headrests for sleeping and to keep their elaborate coiffures off the ground. Some authors (Stappen1996) attributes these headrests to the Gurage tribe.
