Medium size spice box Punjab (Pakistan) 09.02.158

A turned and decorated lidded spice box with a warm yellow, red and black colours,  and natural markings of age. IThese boxes were used for spices like black pepper, cumin, tea, cinnamon, saffron, sugar, etc. This box was bought in the Swat vally (Northern Pakistan).
