The Kuchi (which means “nomad” in the Dari language) are tribespeople who travel between India, Pakistan and Afghanistan, guiding their herds of sheep and camels to the sparse grazing grounds scattered over rugged mountain terrain. The Kuchi are well known because of their brightly woven and embroidered fabrics.
