Rare Omani silver incense burner. Formerly in constant use, but nowadays only for ceremonial purposes. A silver tong is connected to a chain which allows handling the glowing coal when burning incense. Incense mostly used is the gum of the Frankincense tree.The Incense Burner made by one of Nizwa's most recognized silversmith.
