Erring from Northern Chad 01.04.1023

No literature reference could be found for this object collected around 1983 in Chad. Most probably they are earrings worn by Teda - Toubou- women who live in the Tibet mountains north of Chad, around the borders of Libya and Niger Maybe also by other nomadic tribes such as the Bororo. The earrings can also be worn as bracelet.
