Light Dinka ivory arm or upper arm bracelet 01.07.1054

These bracelets were worn by the Anuak, Shilluk, and Nuer from Sudan , sometimes at the upper arm. This light item has beautiful creamy colored patina, with small cracks. Ivory is the material of choice for many of the peoples within Sudan. Collected during my stays in Southern Soudan in the 1970'ties.
