For this spice box the lid is missingband it has a small crack (see picture), otherwise, in good condition. It has a red-orange colour and very fine decorations. These boxes were used for spices sugar, etc. Similar boxes are used in the Northern Frontier district of Pakistan, Pakistani-Afghan border areas and Punjab.

This 4 antique brass bells have a very lovely "jingle-bell" sound when shaken. Each bell is a unique piece of lost wax cast, all with nice patina.

Both ends of this sparrsly decorated Ghurra in light an clear wood,are cube shaped. According to Smedt2000: "the square here symbolizes the 4 sheres of existence (Vasus), cosmic space governed by the god Vishnu. The four angular points symbolises the four classes in Vedic society: a reference to leading a dutiful life in accordance with the class or caste one belongs to."

The Tuareg "ǝlbayt" snuffbox is probably made by leatherworkers of Tidjikja in a purely Mauritanian style.The snuffbox has four pockets with flaps. These "wargāt" leaves bear the names of the various objects that are stored in the snuffbox: the tobacco leaf, the tinder, the lighter and the pipe cleaner. The snuffbox ends with a pompom of leather "hair" and closes with a small leather cord. With the snuffbox comes a pipe made out of bone, black wood, copper and white metal.
