These pendants assembled with leather, metal sheets are called Bogdäd ou Mogdad. Such crosses are worn around the neck or integrated as a central element in necklacescruciform pendants from Mauretania. The price is for the lot of 5, they can alco be sold individually.

Three beautiful heavy brass elements with two rings rotated by 90 degrees with respect to each other. The hollow space is filled with black clay. Their use is unknown (harnassement? ). They can also be sold individually.

Swati chair with the two back legs lengthened terminated with a pointed knob. The seat is made out of woven leather strips. The chair's back panel is carved on both sides. At the upper end, there is a crack which can easily be repaired (see picture).

This is a old brass pipe, with a well-sculpted furnace and an iron stem. While Musée d'Ethnographie de Neucâtel (MEN) attributes a similar article to the Ashanti tribe in Ghana and some other sources link them to the Mossi in Burkina Faso, The present pipe has been collected in Northern Cameroon.

This iron cache-sexe is made out of 13 iron "teeth" linked together and ending with a ring on the top end through which passes the belt. These are ancient pieces; beaded aprons long ago replaced the original of iron aprons.

This is a fine twisted silver torque with a central medallion, with two inserted red glass pearls. It is thought that this type of torque was originally made in the Swat Valley in North Pakistan and brought westwards to the Kafirs in Afghanistan. Our pieces have been collected in the Swat valley.

This cotton blanket was collectet in 1978 in Niger. Both Fulani (Peulh) and Songhai use this type of blanket. Typically this size and weight of cloth served multiple purposes as blankets and household furnishings.
