Old Indian Siver Belt 04.04.1896

Three-stranded silver belt, probably from Hyderabad. The three chains of a type of work known as kamardani, they are very fine and smooth with a patina which attests an extended intensive use. The belt opens by unscrewing a typical Indian left-hand screw.
