Omani "Samt Mukhahal" necklace 03.01.115

Samt Mukhal or hanhun necklaces were widely worn in Central and northern Oman. A large necklace like this one would have represented a large portion of the bride's dowry.

The Maria Theresa Thalers are always worn with the Empress's head facing inwards, those invisible. one of the two glass beads is broken, otherwise the necklace is in perfect condition.
