The symbol of thi stamp is called Gye Nyame, which means except god. This is the symbol of the supremacy of God. The 2 fingers pointing upwards and downwards demonstrates the fact that God controls both: heaven and earth. Gye Nyame is arguably the most popular Adinkra symbol and expresses the deep faith the Akans have in the Supreme Being. The following names and titles given to the Supreme Being illustrate how he is perceived in Akan thought: Onyame or Nyame, meaning the one who satisfies; Onyankopɔn or Nyankopon, meaning the unique and great one; and Twereduampɔn, meaning the great dependable one.

This tent hanging comes from the Altai district in North-Western Mongolia. Due to age and extended use, the colour has faded, but the cloth is in excellent condition.

Decoration for a lady belt. Double hook mounted on leather bow, on the backside strengthened with a metal plate. Two metal layers, above silver alloy, below brass. Verso fixed on metal plate leather fixed with nails. In the front five small coral discs, most of them broken, in the decorative graved middle piece. Througout Tibet milking is women's work. The cow is a dri (female yak) or a dzo-mo ( a cross breed between yak and domestic cow).

A small antique Tibetan Gau Amulet Box, traditional among all Budhist groups of Tibet, while the oval domed front is of silver, engraved Tibetan motifs and the back section is made of a poor silver alloy. The red centerpiece has a coral bead and at the bottom we find a stylized dorje ornament . This front of the box is in perfect condition, the back copper cover shows cracks and holes.
