This type of necklace is worn by Bedouin women in Central Oman. The digg necklace sits quite low across the bosom those allowing closer fitting necklaces to wear at the same time. Today it's rare to find these necklaces with real large coral beads.

This type of necklace is worn by Bedouin women in Central Oman. The rigid bar which lays across the breast has a large central bead. On each side of the central bead are 2 red glass beads. The horizontal part ends with a heavy bunch of twisted strands of tiny silver beads. At the end of the bunched strands are two large silver beads in between them a small silver "hirz" an amulet box (50 X 25 mm). The necklace is threaded on a thick rope of cotton
